Christina Trefny

Performer

Christina was born in Salzburg, Austria, and studied the art of acting at the Krauss Drama School in Vienna, where she has continued to live since.

She has worked as an actor and narrator since 2003 and participated in festivals such as the Wiener Festwochen and Salzburger Festspiele. Christina also performed at a number of Viennese theatres such as the Volkstheater, Theaterder Jugend, the Wiener Metropol and Theater Drachengasse.

She has performed in films and was seen on TV, including  Die beste aller Welten (The Best of All Worlds) , Vier Frauen und ein Todesfall, (4 Women and A Funeral), Die Farben von Liebe und Tod (Colours of Live And Death), Tatort, SalzburgerLandkrim,  Soko Donau and Cop Stories.

Her work as a narrator includes documentaries and radio shows, voiceovers in commercials, and as a dubbing actor for movies. Christina is fluent in three languages - German, English and Italian -and knows enough French to order croissants and café au lait, and often perhaps even more!

She is a member of Theater im Wohnzimmer and joined TEV in 2005 for the Austrian Production of Hans Christian Anderson’s Stories. She has since participated in the TEV productions “Friends” and “Hero & Zero”.
