Course Overview

In this course, we will explore poetry from around the world and discover how great poets have expressed the subtle beauty of the Spirit through language, rhythm, and imagery.

Together we will delve into the works and backgrounds of poets such as Guru Nanak, William Blake, Rabindranath Tagore, and others, exploring how poetry can reflect deeper states of awareness and key spiritual themes.

We will also look at different poetic and linguistic devices with the intention of writing our own poems inspired by inner experience and Self-realisation.

The course will include:

• reading and discussing poetry from different traditions
• exploring symbolism, imagery, and poetic language
• discovering links between poetry and the subtle system
• guided creative writing exercises
• sharing and developing our own poems in a supportive atmosphere

Open to everyone, whether you already write poetry or are simply curious to explore creativity through words and inspiration.
